My artwork is inspired by streetscapes and ephemera found via my long and aimless walks through cities such as Baltimore, DC, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York. Taking a cue from Andy Warhol, I paint pop abstract backgrounds onto canvas board or birchwood panels, then silkscreen images from my own photography over them. I like to think that I find art and beauty in the forgotten or overlooked bits of the urban tableau.
